Vicente Vitela is a journalism major from San Fernando, CA. He joined the newspaper in Spring 2016 as a staff writer and became a consistent writer for both sports and sports opinion stories.
The California native took an interest in writing after attending a Journalism 101 class and the rest is history. Vitela has the knowledge and ability cover all types of sports ranging from water polo and wrestling to softball and football.
He has many years of experience with sports as he currently coaches two travel ball softball teams and was a baseball player all his life and still plays to this day when he is not covering a story.
