Jerry Ough is a freelance broadcast journalist getting his reporter’s feet wet in the Valley College print news pool. Jerry began his path through Valley’s Journalism Dept. in Fall 2018 and was instantly hooked. He previously was a general assignment reporter in the KLON newsroom covering Los Angeles City and County government, arts and culture, Caltech, environment and local pro sports stories. His education plans include transfering to CSUN’s acclaimed Journalism Dept. and continuing to carve out his niche as the longest running broadcast reporter covering the Los Angeles jazz community.
