BRIEF: Late start classes offer academic shortcut

Valley College spring 2021 late start courses put students on a fast track to success.

Valley College’s eight-week classes are an opportunity for students to help complete an associate degree, transfer to a four-year university or participate in one of many classes to train for a new career. These classes start on April 12 and are referred to as late-start classes because they take place in the second eight-week segment of the spring 2021 semester.

The spring 2021 semester at Valley features over 150 late start classes that are transferable to some of the most popular UC and Cal State universities, as well as the career training classes.

From accounting, anthropology and art to political science, psychology and sociology, Valley has served up an extensive selection of late start classes to choose from.

The enrollment process begins by going to lavc.edu, clicking on Schedule/Catalog and then scrolling down to click on “Spring 2021 – Late Start Classes” to find out which of those classes have open seats.

New or returning students must first apply online. Current students should register online through the LACCD Student Information System for late-start classes.
