Benjamin Royer is a communication studies major from West Hills, CA. He joined the newspaper in Spring 2021 as a staff writer and became the Valley Life Editor the following semester.
His main beat involves Valley sports, campus-related events, current social issues, and news.
He is also an intern/contributing writer at All Bruins, in association with the FanNation and Sports Illustrated networks.
He is an actor and has appeared on major networks such as ABC, FOX, Showtime, and Disney Channel. He also hosts a podcast called The Double Play with his twin brother and fellow staff writer, Matthew Royer. This can be found on major podcast providers. He hopes to transfer to a university to further explore studies in journalism.
