Lexie Macias joined the Valley Star in Spring 2020 as a staff writer and the Valley Life editor. She is a journalism major who was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and is also a third year college student. Initially a biology major, Lexie never imagined she would find herself writing for the Valley newspaper until she enrolled in Journalism 101 and got hooked. She enjoys writing about entertainment, but can cover anything if need be. Lexie enjoys going to Disneyland, watching movies, reading, and drawing in her free time.
