Matthew Royer is a Fall 2022 graduate at Los Angeles Valley College majoring in Political Science. He joined The Star in the Spring of 2021 and currently serves as News Editor and Online Editor. In past semesters, Matthew has served as Political News Editor, Graphic Designer and Staff Writer.
Hailing from West Hills, Matthew has spent the last two years at LAVC earning credits towards an AA-T in Political Science, where he is awaiting transfer to a four-year university. He is an avid Los Angeles sports fan and considers himself a diehard supporter of the Dodgers, Clippers, Chargers and Los Angeles FC.
In his free time, Matthew loves to do the daily crossword, read, watch CSPAN and play with his dogs.
