The Jonas Brothers released their first single since 2013.

After their split six years ago, the Jonas Brothers have officially reunited and released a new single with a full album on the way.
The new single, ‘Sucker’ released Feb. 28, debuted at No. 28 for Billboard's top 100, and the music video has already hit over 45 million views on YouTube. They have finished around 30 songs according to lead singer, Joe Jonas In an interview with Big Top 40.
“[For a year] we’ve been talking about it but we decided to get back together like six months ago” said Joe in the interview.
According to IMDb, the Jonas Brothers formed in 2005 after Nick Jonas was signed by Columbia Records, working as a soloist. The record company discovered that Joe and Kevin Jonas also possessed musical talents causing the boys to form their band and later release their first album in 2006. The band went on to work with Disney allowing them to do a cover of the song, “Year 3000,” for the movie, Meet the Robinsons, which kick-started their career.
The brothers released several albums and starred in their own Disney Channel show, Jonas, from 2009 to 2010. They also were in Disney’s Camp Rock duology, working alongside actress and pop-star, Demi Lovato.
After their hiatus from 2010-2012 they were about to start a comeback tour for their new album “V”, according to The Guardian. Those plans were brought to an end due to a conversation initiated by Nick. "It was a very tough conversation, and it left the family kind of shaken up for a little while” he said in an interview with E! News. “I mean we were about to start a tour. We were two days from starting a tour."
After their disagreement and break up in October 2013 they decided to cancel the tour and the release of their album, disappointing fans.
“I was devastated”, one fan wrote in an article with The Odyssey. “Ever since the tour was canceled, I tried to stay strong, but after reading the interview [with People Magazine], I broke down crying. After the brothers broke up, it took awhile for me to be able to listen to their music without crying.”
Since the band broke up, Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle had two daughters; 5 year-old Alena, and two year-old Valentina.
While Nick Jonas released two studio albums and hit Billboard’s hot 100 list six times, including the top 10 with his single “Jealous”. He then got married to actress, singer and film producer, Priyanka Chopra in 2018 spending over half a million dollars on their 3-day wedding.
Joe Jonas joined another band, DNCE, also making it to Billboard's top 10 in 2015 with “Cake by the Ocean”. He later got engaged in 2018 to Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner.
Their upcoming album is said to have a wide-range in sound. From the expressiveness of the eighties to even Post Malone inspired, this album has it all, according to Joe Jonas in an interview with Music Choice. Their new album is set to release sometime this year.
